Cayuga white grapes and Chambourcin red grapes are grown on five acres at Fragrant Farms. Each year, the graceful vines are hand-pruned in February and March preparing them for the blooming cycle in May. By mid-summer, luscious green and purplish-red grapes glisten like glass marbles, ripening in the sun while they internally reach just the right sugar content for harvest in late August or early September.
Our grapes are sold to an Indiana vintner, Easley Winery, in Inianapolis. New in 2009, we will have our own private label. More news to come on the availablitly and where you can buy it!
